"Stanley Park 3.0 Mile" Cross-Country Race

Stanley Park, Westfield, MA
Monday Evenings

• April 22, 2024 - August 26, 2024

•Race Starts at: 6:30PM

•Fee: $7.00 [16 and under and 70+ are free]

•Fee: $2.00 charge for new and replacement bib numbers

This weekly 3 mile cross-country race is brought to you by the Empire One Running Club.

The race course consists of field running, trails, and approx. 10 percent paved road. The race is located entirely within Stanley Park.

The race is open to the public and attracts runners of all abilities. Age records are kept and prizes are awarded weekly to winners in selected male and female categories. The remaining prizes are distributed in a lottery drawing.

The race course consisting of dirt and gravel roads, circles scenic Ashley reservoir.

The race is open to the public and attracts runners of all abilities. Age group records are kept and prizes are awarded weekly to winners in selected male and female categories. The remaining prizes are distributed in a lottery drawing .

THE EMPIRE ONE RUNNING CLUB

“8 WEEK POINTS RACE SERIES”

April 29 – JUNE 24/p>

Commencing on Monday, April 29, The Empire One Running Club will conduct a 8 Week “Points” Race Series. These races are open to the public and there is a $7.00 entrance fee for ages 17 and over. Ages 16 and under and 70+ are free. A $2.00 charge is required for new and replacement bib numbefrs. The final race will be held on Monday, June 17. Awards will be presented on Monday, June 24

Trophies will be awarded to the Top 3 Male and Top 3 Female Finishers. In addition, Trophies will be awarded to the Top 3 Male and Top 3 Female Age Division Finishers.

Competitors must complete a minimum of 7 races to be eligible for a Trophy.

Points are scored as follows:

The First Place Finisher in each weekly race receives 1000 Points. The remaining finishers receive points based on this formula: Each competitor’s time is divided in to the First Place Finishers time and then that time is multiplied by 1000. All weekly points are cumulative for eight weeks and the competitors with the highest amount of points after eight weeks, will determine our Awards Winners.

June 27 – September 19

Commencing on Thursday, June 27 204 he Empire One Running Club will conduct a 12 Week “Points” Race Series. These races are open to the public and there is a $7.00 entrance fee. Ages 16 and under and 70+ are free. A $2.00 charge is required for New and Replacement bib numbers. The final race will be held on Thursday, September 19. Awards presented on Thursday, September 26

48 TROPHIES AND COMMEM0RATIVE T-SHIRTS CAN BE AWARDED

Trophies and T-shirts will be awarded to the Top 3 Male and Top 3 Female Finishers.
In addition, Trophies and T-shirts will be awarded to the Top 3 Male and Top 3 Female Age Division Finishers.
